Nathan is one of Canada's leading public affairs professionals and a subject matter expert on issues advocacy, voter mobilization, and third-party election campaigns.
He's managed many of Canada's largest third-party election advertising campaigns, and his grassroots issues campaigns have recruited more than a million Canadians to act as authentic advocates with government to advance public policy change.
Nathan’s senior counsel has been trusted by publicly traded corporations, public and private sector unions, and even arms-length government agencies facing high-risk public affairs challenges. His campaigns have secured billions in funding for hospitals, enshrined new rights for regulated professionals in legislation, and raised public understanding on emergent issues.
With more than a decade of experience in public affairs, Nathan's expertise lies in building comprehensive integrated advocacy campaigns that reach both voters and elected officials, making them think or act differently. He also advises corporations on how they can effectively use issues advocacy to form authentic relationships with consumers to grow market share, and build their brands.
Prior to founding Apollo, Nathan rose through the ranks at two national public affairs firms, most-recently as a Vice-President at
Crestview Strategy, and as a Director with
Enterprise Canada. Nathan is a graduate of York University’s political science program and Algonquin College’s public relations program.
